Accepted Results Formats for WDAA-Recognized Shows

To ensure accurate processing and timely updates to WDAA standings, results from recognized shows must be submitted in an approved format. Below are the guidelines for accepted formats, including special notes for USEF and AHA formats.

Accepted File Formats

Companion files may be required for missing fields or classes. Use the official WDAA Results Template for these cases.

USEF-Licensed Shows

For USEF licensed shows, results must be submitted in the USEF format, which meets their reporting requirements.

USEF File Format Fields for Horse and Rider Identification

Horse Identification Options: USEF Horse Number, Breed Registry Number, or WDAA Horse Number

Rider Identification Options: WDAA Member Number

Important Notes:

  • Ensure the USEF format includes all WDAA-recognized classes and required fields.
  • If your system does not capture all required WDAA fields or classes, submit a companion file using the WDAA Results Template.
  • Companion files must include identifiers (e.g., Horse Name, Rider Name, Class Number) to allow accurate matching with the primary file.

AHA Format

 Show Name, WDAA Recognized Show Number, Show Date, and Judge Name(s) are not included in the AHA format, WDAA will retrieve this information from the show recognition record.

  • AHA format does not include WDAA Member Numbers. You will need to submit a companion file using the WDAA Results Template.
  • Companion files must include identifiers (e.g., Horse Name, Rider Name, Class Number) to allow accurate matching with the primary file.

Required Fields for Submission

Key Requirements for Results Submissions: 

To ensure accurate processing, all show results must include the following: 

  • WDAA Member Number for all exhibitors who are WDAA members. 

If your current results format cannot include WDAA member numbers, you may submit an additional report with the member data linked to your show results. 

  • One form of Horse Identification for all competing horses of WDAA Members. 
    • WDAA Horse Number 
    • USEF Horse Number 
    • Breed Registration Number 

Minimum Field Requirements: 

Submitted results must include the following minimum fields: 

  • Exhibitor Name 
  • WDAA Member Number (if applicable) 
  • Exhibitor Email Address
  • Horse Name 
  • Horse Identification Number (e.g., WDAA Horse Number, USEF Horse Number, or Breed Registration Number) 
  • Class Number 
  • Class Name 
  • Division (if not included, results will be applied to the Open division) 
  • Level 
  • Test (if applicable) 
  • Score 
  • Percentage 
  • Number of Class Entries 
  • Class Placing 
  • Video URL: A valid URL link to the video submission of the ride (required for online shows).

Note: For AHA formats, Show Name, WDAA Recognized Show Number, Show Date, and Judge Name(s) are not included in the submitted results file, WDAA will retrieve this information from the show recognition record. 

How to Submit Show Results

  1. Compile results in an accepted file format.
  2. Ensure all required fields are accurate and complete.
  3.  Submit WDAA Show Results  online or email to results@westerndressageassociation.org
