WDAA Show Recognition Application Process and Requirements

How to Apply

1. Submit Your Application
   Use the online application form, which offers two payment options:
   • Credit Card (Strongly Recommended)
   • Check (Mail to: WDAA, PO Box 2349, Parker, CO 80134)

   Note: Submitting both the application and payment by mail may delay the show approval process.

2. Assigning a Show Number
   Upon approval, WDAA will assign a unique recognized show identification number to your event. An approval page will be provided to add to your prize list detailing recognition approval of show and classes.
3. Promotional Tools
   Approved shows receive an exclusive branded digital logo for advertising.
   • The logo may only be used to promote the show as WDAA recognized.
   • The logo cannot be altered or added to show awards.
4. Event Listing
   All recognized shows are featured on the official WDAA Event Calendar, increasing visibility and participation.
5. Judge Information
   Shows cannot be approved without identifying the judge(s) on the application form.
6. Prize List Submission
   Include your show prize list when submitting the application. The prize list must:
   • Require WDAA membership numbers for owners and riders.
   • Include at least one form of horse identification number on entry forms.
7. USEF-Licensed Shows
   For USEF-licensed shows seeking WDAA recognition:
   • Obtain approval and a show number from USEF first, then submit to WDAA.
8. Separate Applications for Multiple Shows
   Each event requires its own application and fee—one application per show.
9. Final Approval
   WDAA reserves the right to grant final approval for the recognition of all events.
